A multi-instrumentalist with a focus on cello and guitars, Yair Evnine
has been recording, producing, performing and composing in
New York city since 2007.
Yair is a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory. His background in classical music on the Cello and Jazz/Popular music on guitars has synthesized into a diverse career that has led to performances at major venues around the world (Davies Symphony Hall, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Hollywood Bowl etc..). His unique training and musical perspective has also led to co-orchestrating and performing the hit musical Waitress on Broadway, placements on national television ad campaigns, composing, producing and arranging with a number of international artists out of his Brooklyn Licorice and Wine Studio.
Some of the musical artists he has had the privilege to work with include Duncan Sheik, Sara Bareilles, Kylie Minogue, Reggie Watts, Jason Mraz, Hiss Golden Messenger, Father John Misty, Spencer Day, Alan Cumming, Joan Osborne, Taylor Mac, Gavin Creel, Spencer Day, Lady Rizo.
